Adding the Affinity matter number column to Outlook

This article will outline how to save emails to Affinity and how to check that an email has been saved to Affinity.

 

Step 1. Configure your Outlook:

  1. Open your Inbox in Outlook.
  2. Click on the "View" tab on the ribbon menu.
  3. Select "Single" from the dropdown menu. 
  4. Right click on the column header and choose "Field Chooser".
  5. Scroll to bottom of drop down menu and choose "User-defined fields in inbox".
  6. Click and drag "Matter" across to the columns.

The "Matter" column should display the matter number against which the email has been filed.

 

Detailed Process

 

 

Change the view of the inbox to “Single”


Right click on the column header and choose "Field Chooser".

 

 

Scroll to bottom of drop down menu and choose "User-defined fields in inbox".

 

 

Click and drag "Matter" across to the columns.


 

 

The "Matter" column should display the matter number against which the email has been filed.
