Managed PC: Logging Into Your PC

Logging into a Managed PC is a straightforward process, but there are some important details to note for a smooth experience. Here's a guide to help you through the process.

Accessing Your PC

  • Login Credentials: Use your Microsoft 365 email address and password to access any firm PC.
  • First-Time Login: Expect a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) prompt when logging in for the first time. This is an additional security measure to ensure your account's safety.

User Access Levels

  • Initial Setup: The first user to log into a PC during its initial setup will automatically receive “Admin” level access. This user is also designated as the PC's owner.
  • Subsequent Logins: Users logging into the PC after the initial setup will have “User” level access.

Admin Access and PC Ownership

  • Multiple Admin Users: If your situation requires multiple users to have “Admin” level access, or if there's a change in the PC's ownership (for example, if you're reassigned a PC and become its new owner), please contact the Innessco Helpdesk.

Managing Your Devices

  • View Your PCs: To see a list of PCs associated with your Microsoft 365 account, visit Microsoft 365 Device List at https://myaccount.microsoft.com/device-list. This link provides a centralized view of all your registered devices.
