Grindal Legal: Connecting Actionstep to Office 365


1. Open ActionStep login page (https://go.actionstep.com/frontend/application/auth/login) and sign in with credentials provided by Verlata.

2. Add this page as a Bookmark in Chrome.

3. Click onto your profile located in the top right-hand corner of your Actionstep browser. See below:


     

    

4. Scroll down until you arrive at Microsoft Outlook Online. Click Connect.

5. Follow the Office 365 login prompts to complete the connection.

6. The Microsoft Outlook Online section should now read Connect.

Installing the Outlook Add In

1. Ensure you have an Office 365 licence and have followed the instructions above.

2. Next, from the Home ribbon within Outlook, click onto Get Add-ins.

3. From the search bar, type Actionstep and hit Enter on your keyboard.

4. Click Add, once added, restart your Outlook.

5. From the Home ribbon, from the new Actionstep menu, click Open Actionstep.

6. This will require you to login using your Actionstep credentials.

7. From the Actionstep dialog box, click the pin to keep the dialog box open.


           

 

Creating a Contact, File Note, Task or Time Entry

You can also create a Contact, File Note, Task and Time Entry from within the Outlook Add-in.

1. Once you have saved an email, fom the Actionstep dialog box, click onto the plus sign.

2. Choose what item you would like to create from the options.

3. Enter the required details and click Save.

            

Viewing a Contact, File Note, Task or Time Entry

You can view Contacts, File Notes, Tasks or Time Entires from within the Outlook Add-In.

1. Once you have created a entry shown above or saved an email the following options are available:

2. Select Home, Parties, File Notes, Time Entries or Tasks to see any entries entered for this matter.
